Party Package T&C’s

Terms and conditions:

By booking a Party Package with Sunny & Lou, you agree to our Party Package Terms & Conditions.

Hire Period:

- The standard hire period for items is 1-3 days. Therefore, it is the same price whether hired for one day or for three. Hire period does not include time/days taken for delivery or return. 
- Hire equipment must be packaged up and ready for return within 1 business days after your event.
- A penalty fee of 10% per day for the first three days, after that is will increase to 30% per day, will be charged to goods dispatched for return after the agreed hire period.

Deposits and Payment:

- All prices quoted are for one day or weekend hire only. 
- All prices are inclusive of GST. 
- A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking. This is non-refundable. 
- The balance is due 5 working days before dispatch of the party package. 
- If the event is within 4 weeks at time of booking, full payment is required.
- Payment can be made via bank deposit or credit card through the website. 
- Sunny & Lou will not release the Party Package goods without full payment, if there are any delays to deliveries due to non-payment Sunny and Lou will not be held liable.
- Any losses, breakages, or damages will be charged in addition to the original hire price. 
- Late payments of charges will incur interest at a rate of 2.5% per month from the due date until payment is received. Any costs associated with debt recovery will be charged to the hirer.

Equipment Hire Responsibility:

- The hirer is responsible for any loss, damage, or breakage of equipment and packaging at replacement cost. 
- It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the safety of the equipment until it is returned to Sunny & Lou. 
- Equipment is not insured while outside of Sunny & Lou’s premise. 
- The hirer accepts full responsibility for the correct use of the equipment and will be liable for any damage caused.
- Sunny & Lou is not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control.

Inspection and Return of Goods:

- All goods are checked before packing. It is the hirer’s responsibility to inspect the goods upon delivery and report any discrepancies or damages. Complaints made after goods are returned will not be considered. 
- Hire equipment must be packaged up and ready for return within 1 business days after the event. 
- A return must be organised between Sunny & Lou and the hirer at time of booking. Return options include a courier collection from the hirer’s home or by dropping at a local post office. 
- It is the hirer’s responsibility to make sure the items are packed safely and couriered back on the date specified on the order sheet. Any items damaged on the return courier through packing negligence will be charged at replacement cost.
- Cost for delivery and return are stated on the invoice received at time of booking.

Modifications and Cancellations:

- Sunny & Lou will make every effort to supply the exact goods requested but reserves the right to provide similar items if necessary. 
- All hire items remain the property of Sunny & Lou. 
- Any broken or missing items will be charged to the hirer on return of the equipment. 
- Deposits are non-refundable when cancelled 48 hours after the day of booking. 
- Changes to a Party Package are only accepted 30 days prior to the event date or earlier. If inventory numbers are deducted within 30 days prior to your event there will be no deduction of costs. 
- Modifications or cancellations must be notified in writing via email.
